Chamomile Blue essential oil

Our blue chamomile is coming from Turkey. With steam distillation we receive from 500 kg flowering tops 1 kg of the “blue”essential oil. The blue chamomile or German Chamomile essential oil contains a constituent called chamazulene which is responsible for the dark blue colour and the pronounced soothing and anti-inflammatory properties. The soothing and calming effects of the herb on mind and body are both legendary and well proven, with over 2,000 years of documented medical use by such luminaries as Asclepius, Galen, Hippocrates and Culpepper.

Chamomile oil is a good help in healing for almost any injury, especially relating to muscles, tendons, or ligaments, German Chamomile is one of the most powerful oils.The anti-inflammatory and cooling action is a welcome relief for pain and unwanted heat. Tips

Take a bath after a stressful day. Put a few drops of German Chamomile in see salt or yoghurt blend it together and mix it in your bath with water.

Safety

Non-toxic, non-irritating unless oxidized. Because of the azuleen and lactone there can be a sensibility for some people. If you have a poll allergy, be careful (rhinitis).

The suggested shelf life is 4-5 years.
