Benefits

Clove is a great oil to add to blends for any cold, painful, constrictive situation. It offers warming effects, reduces pain, and is strengthening for the body overall. Very strong oil for cold and flu prevention.

This essential oil excels when used in massage; its invigorating and analgesic action relieves muscular aches, stiff joints, sprains, arthritis and rheumatism. Similarly, its carminative action helps to relieve dyspepsia, colic and stomach cramps. When blended with our Ginger essential oil it can also help settle feelings of nausea. It also has a powerful antiseptic and antifungal action which can be put to a wide range of uses.

Particularly beneficial for toothache Clove can be used to fortify a person during a period of uncomfortable change. Using Clove during visualization work can bring forth and strengthen willpower, and recall long forgotten memories.

Tips

Add one drop at your tooth with pain and the pain will relieve.

Make your own nausea blend with our almond oil, clove, ginger and lemon essential oil.

Safety

Not suitable for use during pregnancy. Do not use on sensitive skin. May cause skin and mucous membrane irritation or sensitization. Limit topical use to maximum of 0.5%. Avoid using Clove with young children. Avoid using on any sensitive or damaged skin. Check the Potential Drug Interactions reference page for safety issues with oral use with blood thinners.

The suggested shelf life is 3-4 years.
