Our Eucalyptus globulus essential oil is steam distilled from the leaves and twigs of the Eucalyptus tree in Portugal. We need 50 kg to receive 1 kg of essential oil.
The tree is a tall, attractive, evergreen tree with pointed, bluey-green leaves that are extremely aromatic. The therapeutic properties of the plant have been utilised for thousands of years by ancient communities, including the Australian Aborigines.

A mixture of only 2% dilution of Eucalyptus sprayed into 5 x 3 meters sq. room will kill 70 % of staphylococci bacteria in the air, making Eucalyptus a wonderful household cleanser.
Put one drop on a tissue and inhale for a better breath and opens your sinuses or use for steam inhalation for cold & flu prevention and to help break down mucus and relax the bronchial smooth muscles.
Add to blends for sore muscle pain relief. Very cool and cleaning for the respiratory system along with the mental and emotional aspect.
Safety
Eucalyptus is toxic when taken internally,It is too strong to use with babies or children under ten years old on their faces or in a steam. Care must be taken when using with asthmatics. Eucalyptus wakes you up so don’t use it before you go to bed.
