Juniper essential oil

Juniper is evergreen green shrub with bluey-green, needle-shaped leaves.. The female tree produces a blue/black berry from which our Juniper essential oil is steam-distilled in Turkey. We need 35 kg of the berries to receive 1 kg of essential oil.

Juniper is a sacred fragrance that has been burned for protection and purification in temples around the world for thousands of years. The First Nations people use Juniper to purify their homes and to ward off negative energies. Until the 1950’s the aromatic twigs of Juniper were burnt in French hospitals to cleanse the atmosphere.
