Linseed oil, also known as Flaxseed oil, is obtained by cold press of the seeds from the flax plant growing in Turkey. Linseed oil contains omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, which are both polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) that the body is unable to produce but are necessary for human health. These fatty acids have been associated with healthier brains and hearts, better moods, decreased inflammation, and healthier skin and hair.
Linseed Oil is an ultra-moisturising oil with anti-inflammatory and healing properties that are beneficial for skin conditions arising from a dietary lack of Omega-3. The oil helps to restore flexibility, suppleness and softness to tired, overexposed or ageing skin. It is a particularly helpful carrier oil for people whose skin is neglected or showing the effects of overwork or stress.
